Hipster on the Overground London

A couple of versions of a fashion Illustration for Paris Fashion week. The jacket was taken from an Elle Uk street style picture. I started with the pencil sketch then did the first colour image at A5 in Gouache. The second image is A4. Different sizes produce different line qualities etc. Strangly the first face reminds me of Carey Mulligan and the second of Uma Thurman. Bizarre. I think both have quite french faces though..

My computer just crashed in the middle of an image I was working on and like a fool I hadn’t saved for ages. While I crawl back over the work I had done I will share this. An initial Gouache Painting of an Orangutan (Orango-Tango if you prefer). I was working on a digital version when my computer died. Ah well..
